The Year 1 and Year 2 pupils had a fabulous day at the Ernest Cook Forest School in Fairford on Monday.
The tree canopy reduced the main effects of the rain and the children loved their Autumn Scavenger Hunt as they crunched their way through the woods finding signs of autumn.
Making a home for a hibernating hedgehog (or two) was the theme for the team and den building exercise. The children even had time to make their own dens. The fabulous day was completed sitting by the campfire toasting, and eating, marshmallows.
