Our Year 5 have just completed a model of Neolithic Stonehenge during their Art and History lessons after their trip in March to see the stones with an accompanying guided tour and workshop.
Pupils researched the Stonehenge site in the Neolithic period using their computing skills at school and used their first-hand experience to be creative with their knowledge of this World Heritage landmark. They used clay to model the neolithic houses and stones and placed them in a landscape setting. It was a fun teamwork task and cross-curricular project.
A wonderful crossover of Art and History
