The junior pupils have had a very creative week making an 11m long snake for their production of The Jungle Book.
Year 5 used sewing machines to create Indian textile inspired patchwork effects for the snakeskin and developed a number of new textile skills. The Year 3 pupils have had great fun using their wood block print designs of leaves to decorate a large scale coconut tree for the stage and Year 4 have used yards and yards of fabric to create vines for the backdrop.
It has been a very busy and fun filled week. With much thanks to Annie Larkins, Artist, and other members of staff for all their support.
We look forward to seeing all the props in action at the Junior Production in July!
